Entry to Kohta’s exhibitions and events is always free of charge unless stated otherwise.

Guided tours

Guided tours can be booked for all exhibitions during and outside the opening hours. Tours are available in English, Finnish and Swedish.

Directions

Kohta is located at Teurastamo, the old abattoir yard and Helsinki city wholesale market area in the Helsinki neighbourhood of Kalasatama. Kohta’s exhibition space is on the top floor of a 1980s industrial building.

When approaching from Työpajankatu, enter Teurastamo through the Teurastamo gate (Teurastamon portti ) and you will find Kohta on your right when entering the gate, neighboring Sonepar and Merilux.

Public transport

  • By metro: M Kalasatama
  • By tram: tramlines 1, 6, 7 and 8, tram stop ”Lautatarhankatu”; tramline 13, tram stop “Kalasatama (M)”
  • By bus: buses 56, 59, 500, 510, 738, bus stop “Tynnyrintekijänkatu”
  • In the summertime, there is a HSL city bike station next to Teurastamo

By car

Parking spaces can be found along nearby streets and at the Tukkutori yard. The Teurastamo yard is a car-free area.
